Karen Handel is an E-Idiot/Actually, I Am

I posted the information below last night after repeatedly checking the SOS site; however, as my friend Mel points out, it's not Karen who is the e-idiot, it's me. Well, Mel didn't exactly say that. The deal is that as I pulled up pages, my browser was pulling stored pages, expect for the home page. So, this is incorrect. My apologies to all.

This is too funny. Secretary of State Karen Handel may be "advancing the e-government revolution," but she can't seem to get her own website right. While Handel managed to get her own name on the homepage, every other page of the site has a masthead with Cathy Cox's name and photo.

I mean, I, too, and nostalgic for the days when Cathy Cox ran the office, but we must move on.

You are tooo funny sis. And it seems that hail mary brother Erick at Peach Pundit is starting to censor opinions that are contrary to his own. Tried to post this at 10:30a.m. under the HPV topic and so far, no go.

After the no-post, I emailed copies to some of the candidates that he works for challenging them to ask the big Peach to allow underlying facts:

Erick et al,

Here are just a few things that may influence Balfour's decisions. Will research Individual Corporate Officers, Opaque PACS and associated Law Firms at a later date. Sorry to bother you guys with underlying facts:

And here I thought the repubs were developing a conscious and caring about women's lives.

That is nothing new, it takes time to transition government websites from one official to another. i haven't looked lately but many of the pages on the us house website still had references to Republican leadership and things related to the 109th congress as of a few weeks ago.

Actually, as you will now see on the front page, this was my error- a good faith mistake, but still a mistake. I am, in fact, the e-idiot!

No kidding, the GA Legislature site is a complete mess: bad links, old info, no info. I keep hoping they'll get it together before the session is over, but I'm beginning to think it's intentional.

And Amy, you are no e-idiot. ;)

Stored pages can really mislead one. An understandable error.

Peach Pundit Topic:
"For You Commenters"

Apparently some of you don’t know or have forgotten how things work at Peach Pundit.

To prevent spam, we do two things:

1) All first time commenters must have their first comment approved before being able to comment further.

2) Commenters posting comments with links or that exceed a certain length will have their comments held in moderation to make sure they are not spam.

I can think of only four occasions in the history of this site, Vic, where I have blocked a comment.

And as for today, I’m traveling with limited internet access, which makes it hard for me to moderate comments.

That guy came over to my site whining about being “censored.”

GabrielSterling // Feb 28, 2007 at 9:02 pm
Tell him to stop his whining. Erick lets a plethora of opinion on here.

Two words, Erick, delegation.
Maybe that’s one word.

I must have missed something.
Doesn’t sound like much, but it must have been something.

Now if only the recent comments section worked properly…

Thanks for the explantion Erick, but it’s time for a change. While we’re talking about Jason, i wish he would hurry back to school, he needs adult supervision worse than i do.

oh, and What were the four blocked comments?
Whining minds are dying to know. Thanks, be safe on the road today.
