If the administration would define what is meant by "victory" in Iraq,it would help. Some folks who are not news junkies as we are think that we are fighting a war "against Iraq." The situation seems to be devolving into just that. If anyone knows what will constitute "victory" in Iraq, please let me know. Cheney was in Japan (speaking to US military there. Yokusuka? What base do we still have there? )and said that we would stay until "the job was done." So, what is the job? One thing for sure, whatever the undertaking...if you don't know what the result is supposed to be, you don't know when you are finished. If you don't know where you're going, you don't know when you've arrived.
I tend to think that 'victory' is simply standing watch over the oil.
