On the not-so-GREAT Plan, now aimed at schools, my husband said:
"If we send tax dollars up the road to Atlanta, just for politicians to send them back down to us, we'd better be prepared to pay the shipping and handling."
That's right.

Georgians will start "out-shopping" if our state gets lots more consumption taxes. For example, if you lived in Columbus,
you could just drive across the Chattahoochee and shop in Phoenix City AL. Georgia is a big state that shares significant borders with other states. Remember that some Georgians used to actually drive to FL for lottery tickets !
