Cox Campus: Voters Want Substance

Who can you trust to provide credible information on GA's Democrat candidates for Governor? Who should you trust to help sort through conflicting campaign messages? Should it be the Macon Telegraph, which endorsed Cathy Cox, or the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which did not? We trust YOU to recognize a clear, articulate vision for Georgia's future when you see it.Compare Cathy Cox's plans for addressing the major issues facing Georgia to opponent Mark Taylor's in a Q&A posted on AJC.com. After checking the facts yourself, we believe you will agree with the Macon Telegraph:

“We endorse Cathy Cox on the basis of her past efforts on behalf of consumers and voters and her potential to move Georgia government into new directions.” Please help ensure that Georgia has the leadership it needs to move forward.Vote on Tuesday, July 18 for Cathy Cox for Governor.

Dont think it will be too effective right now.

Hardly. This program has been up and running all over the state for months. Thanks for the league info. I am proud to be a member.

Oh well, not sure how effective it is if I don't know a single CD who knows of them.

Is CoxCampus part of the Cox campaign? I don't see a "paid for by Cox for Governor" notice... I'm confused. Is that legal?

Cox Campus was always planned as a longer term project, since students are scattered to the wind during the summer months. The goal was to hit the ground running in September and conduct GOTV on campuses in November. As for the disclaimer, it's a free website managed by a volunteer. So I'm not sure that's necessary. It started as a grassroots project, but at some point was recognized by the campaign.

so why didnt cox want to get people to vote for her in july?

More proof that she won't stand a chance against sonny.

PS: Got this from Political Vine
Oh, and on a side note, Cathy’s birthday is July 18th. I am sure her birthday is going to suck.

So will Cox campus be supporting Mark Taylor in November as part of their long term strategy?

Georgia voters do want substance, and that's why they want Mark Taylor. Remember what the AJC said? "[CC's] knowledge of the challenges facing Georgia is thus less detailed than that of Taylor." Yes, CC understands brain size and how its affects our children (or whatever it is she rambles on and on about), but on a wide range of other issues, the choice is clear. The choice is Mark Taylor.
