No matter who you are supporting for the Democratic nod for President, I hope that you won't miss the opportunity to meet Elizabeth Edwards in Macon on Tuesday, June 5th at 5:30. She is definitely John Edwards' not-so-secret weapon. In this media-driven political world where candidates and their spouses easily turn into flat stereotypes, Elizabeth Edwards is anything but. Never was that more apparent than recently when I heard her pause in a discussion of politics and policy to tell Jack (their son) to wait a moment because mom was on the phone.
To find out just what you will miss if you miss Elizabeth on Tuesday, read "Encountering Elizabeth" from Kos.
Lots of people are asking for directions to the event, so here you go. See you in Macon.

I was very impressed with Elizabeth in 2004. When you see her work a room on behalf of her husband, you realize it's a no-brainer that she should be as active in this campaign as possible.
And she can be funny and fun, as she showed on NPR's quiz show (of sorts), Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me this weekend.
This was a great event!!! thanks Amy for putting this together, had an awesome time.
