Republicans Revel in Taylor Tactics

Predictably, tonight, a Georgia Republican blog (the same one that carried Dent's diatribe) gives top billing to a homemade commercial in the spirit of Dent/Rove. You'll just have to excuse me for not posting a link.

Congratulations. You guys are giving Perdue exactly what he wants.

CMob: you are welcome to repost your comment without the URL. I have no intention of providing a link to that trash on this site.

How does Jo know that the Taylor campaign did not create the "cartoon" or that it was someone else? Jo sounds a little too close to the action. Tell us what you know and how you know it.

Everyone knew that Taylor was bringing in an attack dog when he hired Dent. He's now been used twice - once even before the campaign officially got under way to attack Cox. It's not good strategy for Taylor. And it's not good strategy for Georgians. Dent's "all or nothing" stratgegy won't play well in Nov., no matter who wins.

But I'd just settle for some honesty in this race. I don't have any problems with giving Taylor credit for his role in passing HOPE. The only problem is that he's not even in the top 5 of people who had the most to do with it. And that's what makes his claims inaccurate.

The only person in this campaign that didn't support HOPE is Sonny Perdue. Both Democratic camps need to remember that. There's no seperation between Taylor and Cox on this issue. They're both going to fight to preserve it. I'd rather they concentrate on their differences. It can be done so in a respectful way that will help voters decide who their best option is.

Hm, Mark Taylor is to 2006 what MMO was in 1998? I wasn't around then, but appears the same methods. Guess MT didn't learn.
