As a pundit of no account whatsoever, nevertheless I will make a prediction.
On Tuesday (today) and Wednesday (tomorrow) the congressmen who were agin the bailout will hear from bankers, brokers, investors, people who have pensions and 401Ks, and donors to their campaigns and will return chastened and ready to negotiate on Thursday. I want to commend Congressman Jim Maarshall for taking a courageous stand on this issue.
Also I would like to know which one of the Georgia Congressmen who voted NAY would like to help replace the $$$ lost from my uncle's trust fund. I guess none of them have elderly relatives in nursing homes who are dependent upon their investments?
